Not surprisingly, Fort Worth’s Anna Bright took her phenomenal game to the super-competitive Capsher Texas Grand Slam last week (June 10-18) in College Station and won the Girls 12 Singles, losing a total of 11 games in five matches. Twice, she won 6-0, 6-0.

Bright, the top seed in singles, also had a strong showing in the doubles draw. She and partner Kemah Buck of New Braunfels dominated all the way to the final, in which they lost in three sets.  Click here for full tournament results.
