We always welcome photos of USTA leaguers, whether you send us team shots or pictures of individuals. I met some Richland Tennis Center and TCU leaguers recently, and they were so chummy that I had to snap the photo below: TCU teammates Amy Cooper (the self-described “short redhead”) and Tracy Conrad flank RTC’s Marsha Taylor. Thanks for the stop-and-chat, ladies.

Also below is a photo of Kenyan tennis instructor Collins Agwanda. He is all about getting rackets, balls and lessons to the impoverished children of his country, which is no small task. We appreciate your work on 10 & Under Tennis in especially difficult circumstances.

USTA leaguers Amy Cooper and Tracy Conrad are TCU teammates, but they love to make friends with their opponents, such as Richland Tennis Center’s Marsha Taylor.Collins Agwanda is Facebook friends with players all over the world, but for him it’s all about the kids. Here he is promoting 10 & Under tennis in the slums of Kisumu City, Kenya.

Dory Habenicht’s Grandma Groupies went on a cruise this past March to the Bahamas as part of a trip to the Sony Open for their annual tennis trip. They agreed that face time with the handsome captain was the highlight of the cruise, if not the entire vacation. Enjoy our new photo gallery of these ladies during their trip and at a recent luncheon to share photos.
Something about a man in uniform… he may not be Captain Stubing, but Dory Habenicht’s tennis ladies thought he was Captain Handsome. He was just part of the fun they had on their combo trips to the Bahamas and the Sony Open in Miami.
